Order, cancellation and refund terms

1. Scope

These terms apply to orders placed through shop.malisthai.be for collection from Mali’s Thai, Beestenmarkt 2, 1500 Halle. They supplement the information displayed on product pages and during checkout. Mandatory consumer rights always remain applicable.

2. Order and confirmation

The customer selects products and options, checks the basket, enters contact details and selects an available collection slot. After processing, an order number appears on screen and a confirmation is sent to the provided email address.

The customer must check the confirmation and report any error immediately. Mali’s Thai may contact the customer if a product, option or slot is unavailable or clarification is needed.

3. Prices and payment

The price displayed on the website at the time of the order is in euros and includes VAT unless expressly stated otherwise. Payment is made on collection unless a different arrangement has clearly been agreed in advance.

4. Collection

Collection takes place at the confirmed time from Mali’s Thai, Beestenmarkt 2, 1500 Halle. Orders are freshly prepared. In the event of a delay or a necessary change to the collection slot, Mali’s Thai will, where reasonably possible, contact the customer by telephone or email.

5. Cancellation

A cancellation request must be made by telephone as soon as possible on 0484 12 73 03 or 0485 98 96 68. Cancellation is possible while preparation has not begun. Once dishes are being prepared, Mali’s Thai may refuse cancellation because the products are freshly prepared.

6. Right of withdrawal

The ordinary 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that deteriorate rapidly or have a limited shelf life, such as freshly prepared dishes and drinks. This statutory exception is in addition to the commercial possibility of requesting a timely cancellation described above.

7. Refunds

As payment is normally made on collection, there is generally no prepaid amount to refund. Where an amount was exceptionally received in advance and Mali’s Thai cannot fulfil the order or considers a refund appropriate, the matter will be handled individually. A refund is not a substitute for a timely cancellation request.

8. Allergens

Customers with an allergy, intolerance or uncertainty must contact Mali’s Thai before ordering. An order note is not sufficient as the sole notice of a serious allergy. Ingredients and preparation conditions can change; cross-contamination cannot be fully excluded.
